CHAMPIONS!!!

Yesterday afternoon, the boys hosted South Grenville Rangers. After many chances to score and some awesome saves from netminder Shane Morris, Castors took 2-1 W home extending their winning to 11 games! Goals were scored by #19 Jaddus Savoie (assisted by #87 Xavier Brunet and #71 Alderic Denis) and #8 Jacob Servant (assisted by #9 Nicholas Gaumond and #13 Nikolas Guindon).With a record 19-3-1 season and a 0.848 win %, Castors finished in number 1 position.

They were also named as the NCJHL's Top Defensive Team (50 GA - least GA in the league). Finally, their discipline on the ice meant that Clarence Castors were also the least penalized team, with 302 PIM this season.

Now we wait until Friday night when Almonte Inferno and Metcalfe Jets play for the coveted final spot to advance to the NCJHL playoffs.Once decided, the first round of playoff will begin this coming weekend.
